Privacy statement

DomainMarketX publishes reference material about the domain aftermarket. It collects no personal data from visitors beyond what a web server necessarily processes to deliver a page.

What this site is

Every page here is a static document. There are no accounts, no registration, no forms, no comment sections, no newsletter, no advertising and no third party scripts. Nothing on a page transmits information to another party while it is being read.

Data processed when a page is requested

Delivering a web page requires a request to reach the server that holds it. That request carries an IP address, the page requested, the time, and the browser's user agent string. These are the technical minimum for a page to be returned and for a hosting provider to run a service securely.

Such records, where the hosting provider keeps them, exist for operational and security purposes: diagnosing errors, identifying abuse and protecting the service against attack. They are not combined with other sources, not used to build a profile, not used for advertising and not sold or shared. The legal basis for this limited processing is the legitimate interest in operating a website securely.

No analytics and no tracking

This site runs no analytics package, sets no identifiers and embeds no social media widgets, advertising tags, externally hosted fonts or other resources that would disclose a visit to another party. What is and is not stored in a browser is set out in the cookie statement.

Email correspondence

Email sent to the address on the contact page is processed in order to answer it. The message, the sender's address and anything included in it are kept only as long as that requires, and are never added to a mailing list.

Rights

Data protection law gives individuals the right to ask what personal data is held about them, to ask for correction or deletion, to object to processing and to complain to a supervisory authority. Because this site holds no accounts and no records identifying visitors, such a request concerns email correspondence only.

Some pages link to other websites, which operate under their own privacy policies from the moment a link is followed. This statement covers only pages published under domainmarketx.net, and it will be updated before any change to how the site works, such as the addition of a form or a measurement tool, goes live.
